Originally from Newfoundland, Jessica was raised in the Annapolis Valley. After completion of her Bachelors of Kinesiology from Memorial University, and a Masters of Science – Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University, she has returned to work as a Registered Physiotherapist at AVWC.
Jessica uses a combination of education, manual therapy, soft tissue release, home exercise programs, and pain management modalities (such as Shockwave Therapy) to help patients achieve their goals. She is also able to assess and treat various vestibular conditions.
She continues to attend post-graduate courses, which include: Neuro-Proprioceptive Taping, Advanced Vestibular Rehabilitation, McKenzie Method of Diagnosis and Treatment (Level A), Mulligan Concept (Manual Therapy of Upper Extremity).
