Philip has been practicing since 2019 when he graduated from Dalhousie University with a Master in Science in Physiotherapy. Prior to this he taught high school/middle school math and science in New Brunswick and Alberta for nearly 10 years. He graduated from the University of New Brunswick with a Bachelor in Science in 2006 and Bachelor of Education in 2008. Philip brings his experience as a teacher into the physiotherapy profession where he creates a patient centered approach to treatment.
Philip uses a combination of techniques including manual therapy, soft tissue release, pain management modalities, home exercise programs, and educational strategies to help his patients achieve their goals. He is now certified in functional dry needling, a technique used to help relieve muscular tension to give patients immediate relief.
Philip has plans to further improve his skills in the next year by completing courses such as Advanced Vestibular Rehabilitation, the McKenzie Method, Canadian Academy of Manipulative physiotherapy, and Mulligan Concept Courses.
