Philip recently joined the physiotherapy profession after working as a high school/middle school math and science teacher in New Brunswick and Alberta for close to 10 years. He graduated from the University of New Brunswick with Bachelor of Science in 2006 and a Bachelor of Education in 2008 before completing his Master of Science in Physiotherapy at Dalhousie University in 2019. Philip uses a combination of techniques including manual therapy, soft tissue release, pain management modalities, home exercise programs, and educational strategies to help his patients achieve their goals. He works with people of all ages and is able to tailor each individual program to suit his patient’s needs.
Philip plans to continue his education to improve his skills as a physiotherapist in future. Among courses he wishes to take are Dry Needling, Advanced Vestibular Rehabilitation, McKenzie Method, Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy levels, and Mulligan Concept Courses.
