To achieve an accurate measure of your true three dimensional foot posture Dr. Miller uses a technique called volumetric foam casting. This allows him to create a 3D impression of your foot while it’s being held in an ideal posture.
From there that impression is shipped to Footmaxx where they use semi rigid 2-3mm plastic that are molded perfectly to the shape required to hold your feet in an ideal posture. Their design blends the right amount of flexibility for comfortable with enough rigidity to help improve foot posture.
Orthotics can be specifically designed for one type of footwear, like cleats, skates or dress shoes or a more generic shape can be selected to fit a variety of shoes.[/text_output]
